Authentic Steel manufactures and exports prime Hot Rolled Pickled and Oiled (HRPO) steel coils, slitted strips, and flat sheets. Produced by processing hot-rolled steel coils through a continuous hydrochloric acid pickling line, the abrasive mill scale and surface iron oxides are completely dissolved. The bare metallic surface is then immediately coated with a uniform layer of neutral anti-rust oil to prevent flash oxidation during transit and storage.
HRPO steel serves as a highly cost-effective engineering alternative to cold-rolled steel (CR/SPCC) for applications requiring clean surface aesthetics, tight thickness tolerances, and superior formability. By eliminating hard mill scale, HRPO steel extends tool and die life during deep drawing, reduces laser cutting nozzle wear, and provides an ideal surface substrate for direct painting, powder coating, or hot-dip galvanizing.
